水彩画・雪景色を描く・風景画の描き方 [Eng Sub] Watercolor Landscape Demo – Snow scene・村田收

Hello everyone! This is Osamu Murata At last we got snow!!! I went to Hiruzen highland to meet beautiful snow scene. This is the reference photo. I think it’s a quaint house I found and I think it’s handmade!? Paper is Arches I’m going to follow the reference photo I’d like to write a draft slowly This time rather than creating my own world Draw exactly what I see I want to go I would like to write the trees carefully as they are or as nature Time lapse from here I will not add something,
I will not change the shape this time draw the nature as it is That is today’s way I’m going to paint now. Pigments are Winsor & Newton And I use a calligraphy brush first Do not moisten first today but use lots of water with the brush I’m using Cobalt Blue. The paint flows down I paint only color than usual Usually I paint mixing colors, but I use a single color of Cobalt Blue this time The paper has been returned to horizontal Mix a little raw sienna here and I want to add some change the color of the sky Mixed with Permanent Rose Right now, I’m mixing Burnt Sienna. It’s a bit darker with French Ultramarine. I wanted to make darker color Slightly tilt down the paint For the plant in front of the house. I paint Raw Sienna over the wet Burnt Sienna. Maybe…
Pampas grass I’ll write a little bit of this Pampas grass It’s a tree from now on
Because it ’s a distant tree Let’s draw vaguely This time, the palette taken with another camera to understand how to mix the pigments I hope you can understand mixing process Ultramarine to Burnt Sienna
I want to make the color as dark as possible Tree in the foreground The wood is painted with a small brush Then I want to paint the distant mountains, but it’s color I hope the pallets are easy to see, Mixed Ultramarine, Permanent Rose and Burnt Sienna It’s a little purple but mixes Burnt Sienna to make it grayish so that it doesn’t get too vivid It’s the value… while looking closely at the material photo I want to paint the value as correct as possible The mountain is also darker on the near side than on the distant side I changed the color a little in the middle It ’s not good to apply it very evenly. I leave it unpainted Ultramarine and Burnt Sienna I’m making a lot of paint again to make a darker color It ’s a tree part, but it ’s quite dark I try to drop paint so that I can keep a lot of paint It was too early to paint a little bit the tree in the middle of the mountain Because it bleeds more than I imagined I’ll paint the foreground It will not darken unless you add a lot of paint Wet in wet is useful to paint distant trees I think this method is very good And then in front of the mountain It’s the forest at the foot. Then, the tree on the left is a little closer. This time it is a snow scene, so the color is monotone, so I will not use various colors Well, I want to paint the house, which is the center of importance of this picture, it is the point I think if you paint the houses well, the whole picture is going to be OK I paint from the thinnest place This time, I put pigment the bottom right of the palette It is “Neutral Tint” I use it in really dark places The pillars of the house are bright, so leave them there and color them only in the dark. The house on the left is also very dark under the eaves The paint I just painted has not dried yet, so I’m dropping dark paint from above Wet in Wet We use White Gouache with Wet in Wet technique to represent snow on trees I write these branches carefully, and then I add them again Lift out because there is little snow in the mountain and whiteness is not enough I took off the paint using Lift Out and made it white There are various patterns of trees in the middle of the mountain I will draw it and say it, but if you draw too strongly it will stand out, so wipe it off with tissue paper I will draw while blurring It is a simple work so I will use time lapse. Yes, let’s draw the tree in the foreground carefully This time, the important part is the house and these trees on the left. I would like to look carefully at the material photos and draw carefully Then it’s the part of the Japanese pampas grass in front Mix Burnt Sienna and Raw Sienna and get a little reddish I will paint the plants I think it’s better to draw the lines speedy If you draw slowly, they will be a weak line If you get used to it, I think it’s not difficult at all. Yes, it’s a simple task, so I’ll fast forward a little I also draw a little shadow of snow There is no need to draw as many plants as the source photos I think a little less is better It ’s where the rocks are coming out. If you look closely, there is a shadow. It’s drawn in light gray. It’s pretty good color I think it’s good to paint light gray and light brightness The picture will be elegant and if it is too strong, it will be vulgar. When you can find and paint these difference in value it is very useful Finally flew Gouache to represent snow This is it! This time I painted a snow scene I can’t usually come across snow scenes so I drove to see the snow Thank you for watching See you next time Be happy with watercolor
